Final pay remediation

Some school employees did not receive the correct final pay when they finished their job because of errors made from the introduction of Novopay in 2012 through to the end of the 2020 school year. 

Processes have been put in place to fix the issue. We are now making payments to correct the errors.

Payments

Former employees

If you are affected by the errors and you are no longer a school employee, we are trying to contact you using the details held in the payroll system.

If your contact details have changed since you left the school sector, please register on the Schools Payroll Remediation Portal so we can reach you if you are due a payment.

Current employees

We paid current school employees who were due a payment in 2021. 

If you were a current employee at the time of payment, the payment was made to your bank account.
